White Tiger Holistic Martial Arts
Welcome to White Tiger Holistic Martial Arts. I focus on a balance of soft and hard style martial arts. In Asian martial arts and Chinese philosophy, the tiger (especially the white tiger) is considered the perfect balance of yin and yang (masculine and feminine energy). The tiger has many qualities. It is relaxed yet strong and powerful. Aside from its power, it is calm, patient, and moves with graceful fluid movements, but can explode in its attack without warning.
I call it holistic because what I teach encompasses all aspects of martial arts and self defense. This system includes hard and soft style martial arts, the four distances of fighting (long, medium, close, and on the ground), and the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of martial arts. Finally I am also a Holistic Health Practitioner with my main training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi Gong and Massage Therapy. I also teach how to heal the body as well cause damage just like martial arts were originally taught and handed down to only family members and close friends.
The dojo I taught at closed shortly after the shut down from covid. Now I teach at my home in Redlands. Which is why I can keep monthly dues as low as they are. I have good clean mats, heavy bag, pads and different types of exercise equipment. I teach a mix system of Kempo (hand strikes, kicks, blocks, stand up sparing), Jiu jitsu (stand up and on the ground grappling, throws, joint locks and other submissions), Tai-Chi Ch'uan and Hsing-I Ch'uan (Close distance fighting, throws, joint locks, hand strikes, kicks, blocks, stand up sparing and forms), weapon forms and applications, as well as techniques from other martial arts and fighting styles. I can teach any of these separately but a mix system has a lot of value especially for self defense. A mix system is very practical and effective for Women's Self Defense.
