I truly feel all woman should be able to defend themselves. Are you ever concerned for your safety? Walking to and from your car, going to parties or night clubs, or even using Uber or Lyft can put you in a compromising situation where you're vulnerable to predators. Women are often seen as easy prey. Society has even conditioned women to feel this way even when they really are not. They just need a few tools and some knowledge to be strong, confident individuals. Discover your own power so you don't have to feel vulnerable in any situation. Even if none of these things apply to you and you just want to gain self confidence, feel more empowered, or just have a fun way to get in better condition and health, learning martial arts can address all of these concerns and help you achieve your goals.
I teach practical self defense that works. First I'll discuss and show you different practices of how to be more aware of your surroundings, not present yourself as an easy victim or allow yourself to be in a dangerous situation. If you do find yourself in a dangerous situation, you'll learn how to create an opportunity to get away to safety. Finally, if you are cornered for your safety and can't get away, you will learn techniques meant to disable your attacker. |
